Keeping Your Vagina Purty




I like to think of a woman's vagina as a purse. Our purse holds lots of valuable things inside, and so does our vagina. As young girls either you had a mom who taught you how to keep yours up. Or you had to learn throughout life on your own. As women besides our period, the one thing that unites us is our vagina. We have to keep it clean, safe, tight, and purty. Check out some ways to help keep yours on fleek. 

1. The V-Steam


I had the chance to get the V-steam for my birthday with my bestie. Before I get all technical let me give you my definition of it. It is a bowl of water filled with herbs you sit on. While sitting on it you can feel the steam releasing the herbs into your vagina. Oh the shit is hot! Now I will mention I had went out the night before and I had a killer hangover that entire day after. But it was a hour long but it was for some reason so hot I almost said F it. ๐Ÿ˜‚After my vagina did feel different, it felt fresh, and tighter.


It's also known as a vaginal steam bath. You're naked or wearing a poncho cover up that feels like you can't breathe to increase the steam's effect which I had on. Koreans say it fights infections, reduces stress, eases PMS, and even increases fertility and tightens your vagina.


2. Cotton Underwear 


Doctors suggest that cotton panties are much healthier for our vagina's. They are soft and keep our vagina's safe from bacteria. When it is hot or you are at the gym it is suggested to wear thongs, only because cotton panties can get sweaty. Thongs are cute and a quick go to. But did you know thongs are a easy way for bacteria to go from your butt to your vagina, which can cause urinary trac infections. Yikes. 

3. Watch What You Eat!


Taste like sugar? Pineapples are not only good, sweet, and healthy but they do wonders for your vagina. I remember I was at work at my desk eating pineapples. This woman Tina came up to me and said " you know pineapples keep you sweet". I said,"huh"? She said google it and you will see. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yes what you eat affects your vagina. Pineapples, applesyogurt, red grapescranberry juicelots of water, mint, watermelon,strawberries are suggested to help. 

4. Yearly Woman's Exam


If you are sexual active getting a yearly exam is key for your vagina. The same way you take your car to the shop, take yourself to the doctor yearly for the pelvic exam or when needed if you smell a off smell. Lets be real as adults our vagina wont smell like peaches and cream 24/7. The pap is something common. 

Your doctor will perform the speculum exam. A device called a speculum will be inserted into the vagina. The speculum is opened to widen the vagina so that the vagina and cervix can be seen by your doctor then your doctor will use a plastic spatula and small brush to take a sample of cells from the cervix and a sample of fluid from vagina to test for infection.


5. Trim Her Up



Having a bush down their is not sanitary. Whether you like bald eagle or a nice trim it's a must you get your vagina looking right. Trimming is always  a good idea. You can use safe baby scissors to neatly trim your puberty hair. Shaving creams with aloe vera and less chemicals is always key to use. Always shave in the direction hair is growing. Once done use a non antibacterial soap to scrub it up clean. Doing this weekly should keep her cute, purty and clean.

6. Kegels Please!


Kegels are a known factor for keeping the vagina tight and right. It takes practice to actually know which is your pelvic muscle. You have to stop urination in midstream. Once you figure it out you can do them any position and any place. No one will know.
