You're Not Invited (Fashion Trends To Keep In 2017)

Hey there you'll.  With only 4 more days left in 2017 I am reflecting back on the fashion this year.  Normally how fashion statements begin is a celebrity making it popular. Let's be real,  Monkey See,  Monkey Do is how I look at fashion. But just because our favorite celebrities wear it, that doesn't mean its a good look for everyday wear.  Now darling I'm not Anna Wintour but I do know there are some fashion / beauty trends of 2017 I would like to not invite into the new year.  Let's begin.

No Bra/ See Through

This was the year the twins were on display. I do love a nice cleavage moment when it comes to my fashion.  When the titties are just there looking back at you like ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘, now I think we're taking it too far. Rihanna pulled it off best and first and now I'm seeing chicks at target with no bra,  see through top,  and titties staring at me,  or the floor.  Can we leave this trend here in the year of 2017. Let's keep men imaging what we look like under our clothes, not give them a free show.

  Man Bun

Maybe it's just me on this one.  This year women were drooling over this new trend of men wearing buns.  Apparently this is the top style on the barbers list, but not for me.  I hate the style. The dutch braids, shaved sides,  all awful.  I think a good looking man can for sure pull it off.  The look doesn't make my panties wet,  only dry.  It takes away the masculinity in a man.

Track Suits With Heels

I blame Kim Kardashian for this one.  Her style use to be so fabulous.  This trend of taking track suits,  with heels and a fabulous fur has to stay behind.  The pairing of a Adidas tracksuit, heels, and a fur is straight tacky to me.  I haven't seen this style rocked on the streets thankfully. So far the celebrities are owning this trend and I hope they retire it.

These are my picks I don't prefer.  Everyone has a opinion.  You may like vanilla ice cream,  I prefer strawberry. Enjoy and share your 2017 fashion trends you would like to leave behind.

NeveR ThE RighT TimE

Do you think it's true that everyone has a soulmate?  You know that person no matter what path you both take in life, the feelings always stay.  The person who knew you,  understood you,  and made you feel complete.

But

It just wasn't the right time. You love them,  they love you but right then at that moment it just wasn't the right time for you two to be together.

You both or one of you could not be particularly ready to settle down.  You know that this person is the one for you but it just won't work out. Maybe both of you want different things in life.

The most devastating feeling is to have to love someone from a distance. Knowing you can't be together when all you want is them.  I believe the pain comes heavy having to watch them move on.  Never the right time is it?

People sometimes meet at the wrong time in life.  You may be in college or working on your career goals and they have their own thing going. Or you may be in a whole relationship with someone else and here he comes.  Messing up what you thought, was a good thing.

It's easy to say well if you love the person go be with them.  Easier said than done.
But real life shit happens.  Love has detours.  Sometimes you can get through it,  but sometimes you have to go another path. Get it!

I walked away from someone who made me the happiness I ever been with a man.  His presence, his personality, his heart, I loved.  But his future and my future didn't mix.  I'm a good girl.  I want to go the narrow path in life, become a mogul of my brand. Build success the right way.  He is the opposite, he wanted to have success and money no matter the consequences.  I didn't want that, and he didn't want to change who he was. Love is amazing, but sometimes your soul mate enters your life at the wrong time.  Maybe if I met him years later when he was mature and thinking different the puzzle would fit.

Never the Right Time?
Or Not The Right One.

My 2017 Fall Fashion Favorites

I am a fall baby.  Born September 28 the fall weather is my go to season.  But sadly here in Georgia I haven't got my fall weather as of yet.  It is hotter than a under boob down here.  Ha!  No really it is 80° in October. Anyways,  let's get to the point.

So my favorite fall favorites are velvet pieces, thigh high boots and over size sweaters.

High To The Thigh

(H&M)

These H&M boots are hot. Normally with fall weather the weather is not too cold, and not too hot.  So pairing these with some mini shorts, can really give a sexy,  Bada$$ look.

Velvet Baby

(Altuzarra)

Velvet is such a throw back fabric but so sexy and sophisticated.  Pairing a top and bottom is a dope fall favorite for me as well.  Trust me with velvet, it is definitely a eye catcher,  and is very popular right now in the fashion world. The top fashion stores at your local mall I am sure has a display in the window.

(Banana Republic)

The over size Sweater

(Fabshopper)
The over size sweater look can be worn so many ways.  This is something I sm loving to sew this fall.  Pairing a over size sweater with a nice fitted pant.  If you are going out pair it with a heel,  or heading out to run errands pair it with a flat.

Rihanna is always on top of what's hot in fashion.  Here she is pairing a over suze sweater with a heel.

What are your fall favorites?

Charisma "What's Good Sis? "

There are some of us who have a personality that just attracts people. I always say being real is what makes a person authentic and unique. When you just let your hair down and be yourself that will attract so many opportunities and of course "MEN".

I understand that some men are attracted to a fat ass and that's all.  So those raisin brains aka small minded men don't count in this conversation.  Let me spill the tea. Truthfully girls,  the reason a lot of you aren't getting any play from men is not because of your looks,  but because you're just boring,  dull and lack sauce.

A lot of women think they are to good to even start a conversation with a man by saying hello.  It's that stuck up attitude that is driving men away.
I had a conversation with a guy I know. He opened up to me that he likes women who are funny, has personality, and spunk.  He struggled dating because chicks he met were so bad on the outside, but couldn't hold a conversation like glue holds eyelashes. But he met his wife and she was just so down to earth they were inseparable.  Her looks were a bonus.

Having charisma is a gift in itself. Being able to charm, influence, and attract people is just something you got,  or you don't. It's not something you buy on ebay. Confidence plays a big part in it. Knowing who you are, and actually liking those things about yourself makes you secure in your self. How you walk, talk, and interact with men will will play a big part in that.

Also your stand-off attitude makes men not even want to approach you.  If you see a guy smile at you, a nice quick smile back won't kill you.  That's just a guys way of saying hello from a distance. A lot of girls think that every guy who speaks is trying to holla.

Calm down sis.........

So working on communication skills and confidence helps with shyness.  Trust me I am the girl who attracts men just from my personality. Men I have dated have always said how great my personality is.  I am just always myself. Whether they think I'm weird, talkative, you can't knock realness. Also dating, and talking to men is the only way to help that.  Bad attitude will keep your ass lonely sis.  So simmer down,  humble yourself and let your guard down.

Pastel Hair Trend

________________________________________________________________
Most trends can becoming tiring.  But the pastel hair trend is one I just love.  Soft colors dyed on hair weave or if you're are really bold your natural hair.  It is a unique trend that lots of hair stylist are attempting on their clients.
Holographic hair is actually the correct term for this hair trend.  But the results are pastel colors. The method used is called Hand pressing, which paints different patterns on a sheet of Plexiglas with hair dye.  Then the dye is placed onto the hair.  The colors give a unicorn type cotton candy color. Instead of strong bold colors the colors appear softer and tent.  Check out some of the stars rocking this hair color trend. Are you bold enough to try it?

New Music Fridays-Jay Z 4:44

Such a great friday. The king Jay Z has released his his newest album 4:44 which twitter believe is a response to his wife album Lemonade. On the first track called Kill Jay, he says "He Let The Baddest Girl Get Away, Eric Bennet"  This line is in ref to Eric Bennett who use to date Halle Berry.

The album in my opinion is classic, Jay album. Dope beats and just spiting realness. Right now you can only get album on on Tidal and sprint customers get 3 months free. You get all exclusives of Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Beyonce. So get tidal and spend your week listening to the new Jay album.

Street Style!

Between Rihanna, The Hadid sisters, and Kim Kardashian, they have been rocking street style for the past few months. Street style is a style that has been trendy on the runway. But in reality street style was created from the urban communities. Girls who didn't have the funds to buy designer clothes and new fashion would create unique styles with the clothes they had in their closet. They weren't new, matching, or even up to date. But that is what made it unique. Using what you got to create dope fashion looks.

Joseline From Love & Hiphop Atlanta breaks street style down but shows a little shade as well.

In 2017 designers, and celebrities are heavily into street style. Check out some dope looks from these celebrities.

HATE THAT YOU LOVE HIM

Love is truly like a drug. To fall in love is a amazing feeling. To get butterflies just by receiving a text from your man. But the most common thing is to love and hate someone at the same time. You hate that you can't stop loving them. It feels so good but feels so wrong. You may have told him you hate him so much, don't call you anymore, and to play in traffic. Or maybe that's just me lol. Still the thought of them leaving your life would be heart breaking. Girl nothing is wrong with you. As women we are just crazy as hell.

I hate that I love you is a real feeling. You hate that person for the hurt that they caused you. However laying in bed at night not having them kills you. You want them but then again you don't want to ever see them again. Listen you are not crazy. True love just doesn't die. You can curse him out, yell, send him mean texts, yet when he actually leaves you alone, your world crashes.

As women we are slightly indecisive. We say we don't want him, but get mad when he moves on. As women you are allowed to change your mind. Be mindful he may be tired of it and actually not come back. Do you like being with him more than being apart from him? Make a decision if you want to work it out. Do you hate the flaws in the relationship more than the great times? Fight for what you want. Life is short, if its meant to be it will be. Yes you hate his childish ways, selfishness or etc, but love the nice things he do for you, and always there when you need him. Think about it, and figure it out. Listen to my favorite song to help you think about it.
