Gift Giving For Your Guy During The Holidays

Gift Giving for your guy can be tricky. Also it can be bad if you get him something totally terrible like stripped socks. Guys have it easy with us women. Men can buy us a Chanel bag, nice bath and body works products, or jewelry, It all works for us right, cause we women like to look good and smell good.

Think of what you can get your man that lasts, and is manly and easy for him to show off with. Guys love to brag about what their girl got them.

I love giving my guy a gift. I got my ex one Christmas a snapback from the hat store Lids. I got it customize his favorite colors, Black and Royal Blue. I also had them add his nick name stitched on the side, it was amazing and he loved it. Until he tried putting it on, I got him the wrong size hat. He was like a size 7, I got a 9. Who knew hats had sizes. lol The hat was huge, and he had a tiny fat head. So he never wore it but kept it hanging in his room. He was so disappointed he couldn't wear it. So girls remember when buying guys gifts get sizes from family members or search his closet.

I put together 6 great gift ideas ladies. I hope you enjoy.Make your guy happy this holidays.

If your guy is a sports junky. Get him a hat that represents his team. Even if your not into sports like me, pay attention to who he is shouting for on football Sunday.

What was your favorite and least favorite subject in grade school

If you aren't in grade school, do you remember those mornings of your parents waking you up for school. You would be so tired. My favorite was art class. I was always so creative so I won awards, and had things I did put on display. My worse subject I hated was Geometry. Omg I barely pasted but made it out with a B+. Think about yours.

How To Help Cramps During .....T.O.M. (time of the month)

So ladies we all have had those months where its like, okay your cycle and you are not getting along. Some people have heavy or light cycles, and some have bad cramps to some having none. For you all who have bad cramps. Check out my blog for ways to help that. Lets Start off by understanding what exactly cramps are.

During your menstrual period, your uterus contracts to help expel its lining. Hormone-like substances (prostaglandins) involved in pain and inflammation trigger the uterine muscle contractions. Higher levels of prostaglandins are associated with more-severe menstrual cramps.

You may be at greater risk of menstrual cramps if:
  • You're younger than age 30
  • You started puberty early, at age 11 or younger
  • You have heavy bleeding during periods (menorrhagia)
  • You have irregular menstrual bleeding (metrorrhagia)
  • You've never given birth
  • You have a family history of dysmenorrhea
  • You're a smoker

"As a young girl, I started mine when I was about 9 years old. I was in the 4th grade. It took me a while to get adjusted. I would have accidents because my menstrual was so heavy. Finally in high school when I was 16 or 17 my mom taught me about tampons. " I would cramp in my butt area never my stomach area. I thought it was werid, it would be so bad I couldn't move 2-5 mins. I met someone in college and they had the same issue. Ladies its good to talk to other ladies as well. Now I am on birth control at age 24, I haven't had a period in over a year because of it.

Check out some thing s you can do at home to help with cramping. According to Medicaldaily
  1. Exercise
  2. Apply heat. (Take a hot bath
  3. Drink Chamomile tea
  4. Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D
  5. Have Orgasm...(Yes they said it)
  6. Acupuncture
  7. If its very severe contact your primary doctor for a prescription.

Is It Ever Okay To Smash Your Ex Homie? (Must Read)

New Blog post.Well if you are not into the latest entertainment news let me give you the scoop on the latest. Well Matt Barnes who currently plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, and his ex wife Gloria  Govan from basketball wives who they are in the process of divorce. Well they are broken up. Gloria who has two twins by Matt had a get together at her home last Thursday. So Barnes was talking to one of his sons on Face time. From what Matt says, his son seem to be bothered, and his son whispered to him , and I quote "Mommy's friend Derek is here"

Now you may be wondering who Derek is. Derek Fisher, former team mate with Matt for the LA Lakers. Now he is currently the Head coach for the NY Nicks. Matt told ESPN that he went to his ex wife home to check on his boys. Says he lives 15 mins away and went he got there things escalated. Says his intentions was not to beat Derek up, like the media has put it out to be, but to just check on his boys.

My question is this. Do you think it is okay, that Gloria his ex wife, is wrong for getting it in with her ex husband friend, and former team mate? I feel that as a woman who is single, and getting a divorce that you should live your life and not sit back and watch your ex enjoy their life. But as a woman her age, and with kids by Matt it was not right. Its to close to home, and to messy. Yes its a double standard cause men do it all the time. As a beautiful woman like Gloria I am thinking about her reputation, because Derek reputation want be ruined by this, its hers.  As a woman men will talk about us all over town forever on "How she smashed the homie". But a man will get looked at as the man.

Take my poll, I want to know your opinion.

Nicki Minaj Covers New York Times (Interviewer Insults The Rapper During The Interview)

So Nicki Minaj The Rap God Her Self did a interview with New York Times and took gorgeous pictures for the article and cover. You would think it would have been great since shes the second rapper on the cover since Tupac, but  towards the end of the interview things took a turn when the interviewer insulted her by asking, and I quote

‘‘Is there a part of you that thrives on drama, or is it no, just pain and unpleasantnessVANESSA GRIGORIADIS   ’’(Click To Read Full Article)

Hold up, why would she ask that? Insulting. Its almost ask if she her self had in her mind that Onika thrives on drama. When did standing up, speaking your mined as woman mean you enjoyed and feed into drama.  So Nicki Replies to her, back, and I quote again.

‘‘That’s disrespectful,’’ Minaj said, drawing herself up in the chair. ‘‘Why would a grown-ass woman thrive off drama?’’

‘‘What do the four men you just named have to do with me thriving off drama?’’ she asked. ‘‘Why would you even say that? That’s so peculiar. Four grown-ass men are having issues between themselves, and you’re asking me do I thrive off drama?’’

‘‘To put down a woman for something that men do, as if they’re children and I’m responsible, has nothing to do with you asking stupid questions, because you know that’s not just a stupid question. That’s a premeditated thing you just did.’’ She called me ‘‘rude’’ and ‘‘a troublemaker,’’ said ‘‘Do not speak to me like I’m stupid or beneath you in any way’’ and, at last, declared, ‘‘I don’t care to speak to you anymore.’’

Wow, Nicki was actually a lot nicer than I would have been if someone who was going to interview me would have been. The point is this interviewer VANESSA GRIGORIADIS  for New York Times crossed the line. The questions she asked Nicki and included in the article were all shady. Why include her ex boyfriend name in a article. Which is rude, shes no longer with him, and you mention a ex name, who wasn't even a topic in questing. She didn't ask about any upcoming things she has going on, new music, new videos, next album, or even how her year has been. Me myself who is a blogger who loves to write. I am trying to build a career for myself. And people like , who works for he New York times article was everywhere, and she insulted Nicki and her fans. If Nicki was in a bad mood that day, you set the vibe. My question is as a woman who is bold to stand up and speak for themselves get labeled as a bitch, while when who don't say anything get labeled as sometimes weak.

The interview was disappointing. This could have been really great for The New York Times for younger generation who don't read as music could stay tune to this article to read of Nicki who is inspired her.  The interviewer clearly was told she did a bad job by asking such things. Cause she responded.

Even though I had no intention of putting her down as a small-minded or silly woman, she was right to call me out. She had the mike and used it to her advantage, hitting the notes that we want stars like her to address right now, particularly those of misogyny and standing up for yourself, even if it involves standing up for yourself against another woman. I didn’t know how much of it Minaj really felt, and how much it was a convenient way of maintaining control. I only knew that, in that moment, she was a boss bitch.

The New York Times made a statement that  Vanessa Grigoriadis is a contributing writer for the magazine. She has profiled many pop stars, including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Madonna. This is her first article for the magazine.

Jam Of The Week!!!! ( Tamar Braxton- Angels & Demons)

video

So my jam of the week is Tamar Braxton from Braxton Family Values, Tamar and Vince, The Real Daytime Talk show, and recently on Dancing with the stars. Yes she has all those titles and still is a mom and wife. She just debuted her 2nd studio album. Great vocals, and true R&B album for the grown ups who love true to the heart music. The song Angels & Demons is so sexy with a island melody. It shows Tamar is a true vocalist like her sister Toni cause she nailed that song better than song reggae artist themselves could have.

Check out her video to her latest song Angels & Demons-Tamar Braxton now off her debut album #CallingAllLovers. Its a great R&B album you guys. Go Tamar!!! Link to buy album here https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/calling-all-lovers-deluxe/id1037732320

Failing Relationship...& You Don't Even Know It Yet

Have you found your self before listening to sad love songs. Crying, why, why what went wrong. Well I have. Man after I ended a 4 year relationship I was down for a while. I look back now and I know exactly why it ended. If I would have payed more attention than, I could have fixed things, or walked away before getting hurt. Or if I took time to spice things up bedroom rise, and suggested we take monthly date getaways. That's the thing with failing relationships. Lack of love, and effort or even caring at all. Attention to detail in a relationship is key.

In relationships we start off spontaneous, and fun and into each other. But for some reason as months and years start to kick in, relationships get routine, and spouses get bored. We know what boredom leads to,,,,Cheating. Sometimes as a female we get so upset when a guy cheats. But ask your self why did he do it, did you see the signs, and did you push him into the arms of someone else. You find out your guy has a female hes been talking too? Your not happy about that. But do you think he enjoys talking to you anymore? Maybe when he does you ignore him, or your not in the mood, or vise versa.

Think about it, you guys get up, go to work, come home , eat dinner, watch tv and go to bed, You all probably do that everyday if you live together. Its even harder living together cause you see the person everyday so its even more of a routine than living apart and not seeing the others every move. The date nights get routine that's if you even still go on dates, and the sex is the same position. You even dress the same and wear your hair the same. Men have a short attention span. So if you and your guy go to the same restaurant, and watch the same Netflix movies. When do you think he or you will get tired of it.

You have to accept the fact your relationship is slowly failing. And do something about it. You cant expect a failing relationship to just keep going for 5,10,15 more years.

Here are 8 signs your relationship is in jeopardy according to eharmony...check out link for full article  8-signs-your-relationship-is-in-jeopardy

1. He or she Cringes During the “Where are we headed?” Talk
2. One of you Constantly Demands to be the Center of the Relationship
3. The Focus is Always on what’s Wrong, Rather than what’s Right
4.Conflict is a Permanent part of your Relationship
5. One of you is Frequently Jealous
6. One of you is Feeling less Invested in Spending Time Together

7. One of you isn’t Feeling Supported

8.Your Emotional Needs aren’t Being Met

Thanks for reading. If you feel your relationship is failing fix it, try to improve it with your partner. Don't wait till a not so happy ending comes and wonder where things when wrong.
